Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k Footage has been released! I've been waiting on this camera since I was revealed in April of 2018. The reason I didn't preorder was because it wasn't going to be released until September of 2018. That would have been five months, man!
I had plenty of work lined up, so I bought a GH4 instead of get me through. We hadn't see any footage all summer, and some peopel started canceling orders wondering if Blackmagic Design was going to be late on the camera's production.
Well the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k footage test is out! It looks awesome. Great stuff! The skin tones are so beautiful! and there is one video in nature that looks incredibly amazing!

Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera test footage include actors and actresses in various poses from waling in daylight to low light situation. And there is a nature scene where they push the contrast to the limit, and it all looks amazing!
BMPCC 4k footage has been hoped for all summer. I never pre-ordered because when I by I want to know that the camera is in production and ready to go!
BMPCC 4k test footage, well, I don't know if it is available for download so that we can tinker with it ourselves to see what we can do in post production in terms for grading and such. I guess we'll have to check the Web site to be sure.
Pocket Cinema Camera 4k Test Footage is a true marvel because this kind of technology has only been available is sub $10k cinema cameras.
Pocket Cinema Camera 4k update. They said the camera would be ready in September, but does that mean early September or late September? Does that mean pre-orders or open for everyone? Does that mean rapid firmware updates if there is any glitch with the hardware? Those will only be answered as time goes on.
