u.s. virgin islands Get Your Goose On! Around the World

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has launched an educational and outreach campaign called "Get Your Goose On! (at a National Wildlife Refuge). The campaign, which supports the Obama administration's America's Great Outdoors initiative, encourages the public to learn more about the National Wildlife Refuge System and the myriad outdoor recreational opportunities it provides.

The official campaign video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkF2ST...) features images and video clips of the public participating in a variety of outdoor recreational activities on National Wildlife Refuges across the country. This video features that content as well, but also contains imagery from trips wildlife enthusiasts have taken around the world. Individuals who want to get their goose on are encouraged to submit their own photos to a shared flickr group ( http://www.flickr.com/groups/getyourg...) set up specifically for the campaign.

The term "Get Your Goose On!" relates to the icon of the National Wildlife Refuge System, a blue goose, which is featured prominently at wildlife refuges across the country. To get one's goose on simply means to enjoy America's great outdoors at a National Wildlife Refuge.
